The ambience and atmosphere were good, and the food was also nice. However, the staff was very unprofessional. I went there with my friends to celebrate a birthday and requested the manager to play a birthday song and video on the screen. At first, they refused, and later they demanded ₹1000 to be transferred to a waiter’s personal account, which wouldn’t even be included in the bill.
On top of that, they didn’t have multiple cake stands available, and we had to wait 30 minutes just to get one. Overall, while the food and ambience were satisfying, the staff’s behavior was very disappointing.

I had a pleasant experience at this hotel. The hospitality was warm and welcoming, and the staff were attentive throughout my stay. The food was delicious, with a good variety of options that were well-prepared and nicely presented. The highlight of the visit was definitely the rooftop area – it offered a beautiful ambiance with great views, making it a perfect spot to relax and enjoy a meal or drinks. If you have helmet with you then you have to leave it in parking with your bike.

Sunsutra: A Mixed Bag of Luxury and Letdown
Sunsutra's rooftop restaurant, the Luxury Lounge, promises a high-end dining experience with its stunning views and sophisticated ambiance. While it excels in some areas, particularly its atmosphere and service, it falls short on the most crucial aspect of any restaurant: the food.
The first thing that strikes you about the Luxury Lounge is its breathtaking setting. Perched atop a building, the rooftop offers a panoramic view of Varanasi, providing a serene escape from the city's hustle and bustle. The decor is tasteful and elegant, creating a perfect backdrop for a special evening. The live music, featuring a truly talented singer, elevates the experience, adding a touch of romance and sophistication. The staff is another highlight; they are attentive, friendly, and eager to please, making you feel well-cared for throughout your meal.
Unfortunately, the culinary journey at Sunsutra is a rollercoaster of highs and lows. The menu, while seemingly promising, delivers mixed results. The portion sizes are noticeably small, which, for the high price point, feels disappointing. The Garlic Bread, a simple classic, was surprisingly average and came with a side of salsa—a bizarre and unappealing combination. The Veg Bao, however, was a pleasant surprise; the flavors were well-balanced, and the texture was spot on. The Fried Rice and accompanying gravy were passable but failed to leave a lasting impression.
Desserts were a similar story of hits and misses. The Brownie with Ice Cream was a definite win—rich, warm, and comforting. However, the cheesecake was an unmitigated disaster. It was a bizarre creation that tasted like whipped cream with a filling of gulab jamun, a combination that simply does not work. This culinary misstep was a shocking and disappointing end to the meal.
The drinks from the bar were also a letdown. Despite the high prices, the cocktails and other beverages were mediocre at best, lacking the complexity and quality one would expect from a luxury establishment.
In conclusion, Sunsutra's Luxury Lounge is a place of contradictions. Its stunning ambiance, live music, and impeccable service make it an ideal spot for a special occasion or a romantic date. However, the high prices are not justified by the inconsistent quality and small portions of the food and drinks. While some dishes shine, others are a testament to culinary confusion. If you're looking for an unforgettable atmosphere and top-notch service and are willing to overlook the mediocre food, Sunsutra might be worth a visit. But if your priority is a stellar dining experience, you might want to look elsewhere.

The luxuryounge by Sunsutra is in vinayak plaza at maldahiya crossing.
it's on the seventh floor.
there is a bar and lounge.
Here the ambience is really very nice.
Staff behaviour is ok.
Many places for taking selfies.
A separate smoking zone and rest room are also available.
The food was tasty.
Here drinks( beer, wine etc) are also available.
Here I will enclosed menu.
Stag entry is not allowed.
One girl in a group of two to three members is a must.
Big screen is available here, live Dj is also available.
Food and beverage rates are on the upper side. So one has to spend money to enjoy here.
They charge 10% service tax in the bill ( they should not ).
They serve vedika brand water. Which is a costly one.
Parking is not free it's paid parking.
Overall the food and the ambience of everything good.
It gives experience of a premium luxury lounge.

A very nice rooftop. We chose to come here after the chaos of the old city, and it was the perfect decision. The atmosphere was relaxing, and the team was extremely kind and friendly. We were taken care of by Manish Rana, and it was truly a pleasure.
The signature cocktails are visually spectacular and delicious, and the classics, like the cucumber gin, are excellent as well. We tried a variety of dishes, and I especially enjoyed the Kung Pao chicken.

The interior is very good, the atmosphere is also good but the price of the food is very high, the problem is not the price, the problem is whether the food with normal taste deserves the high price, smoothie We tried it which was absolutely average if I compare it with a smoothie from a small shop,The smoothies or shakes from those small shops would be much better , totally disappointed....

Visited Sunsutra on a weekday and was pleasantly surprised by the lively crowd, the place had a great vibe even midweek. From the moment we arrived, the experience was warm and welcoming. The lady at the gate stood out for her exceptionally sweet and helpful nature, setting a positive tone right at the entrance. The food lived up to expectations, flavorful, well-presented, and clearly made with attention to detail.

The food was excellent, and the staff’s behavior was very courteous. The environment was also very pleasant. I visited the rooftop, and thanks to the good weather, it wasn’t too hot. They also have a covered seating arrangement on the rooftop. Despite the crowd, the food was served promptly without much delay. The mocktails were average, but their Paneer Tandoori Pizza was absolutely outstanding.♥️
